Beginning French for Adults

This French class is for adult beginners - those with little previous instruction in French, or those who are very rusty with their French language skills! We will be using an excellent coursebook called Ultimate French Beginner- Intermediate by Annie Heminway to introduce us to the French language and culture. This textbook retails for $21 but can be found for much less online. We will review basic vocabulary and grammar through topic-based lessons which deal with everyday situations. This dynamic course will make learning French fun and engaging. Lisa Locklin lived and worked in Paris, France for four years and received her Certificat de Langue Française at the Université de Paris-Sorbonne. She has taught French for several years privately, through Acton Boxborough Community Education, and at French in Acton. She was also formerly a preschool teacher in Acton and currently tutors junior and senior high school students.
