ACTON COMMUNITY BAND #BAND
Travis Worthley
The Acton Community Band welcomes all band instrumentalists who would like to participate, regardless of age or skill level. Members will progress through a variety of different styles, time periods, and composers. Regular rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. during the fall, winter and spring terms. All new members are welcomed with warm and friendly smiles! A recent graduate from Tufts University with an MA in music composition, director Travis Worthley enjoys regular performances of his original work, and has been guest conductor for several groups including the South Eastern Massachusetts Wind Symphony, Atlantic Union Wind Symphony and Great Woods Chamber Orchestra.
