Yvonne BenelliThis Water Fitness class offers a fantastic total body workout for all ages and fitness levels. With this class being conducted in the pool, there is minimal stress to joints, while the water's natural resistance/massaging qualities offer safe therapeutic effects while you get in shape. Improve cardiopulmonary fitness (heart and lungs); muscular strength and endurance; as well as flexibility and Range of Motion. You will be encouraged to use good body alignment, safe positions and movement, and modify exercise & intensity as you pace yourself through a safe, healthy, yet challenging workout. The goal is to leave the class feeling as though you had a great workout, taking yourself to the next fitness level is a safe style that has you feeling stronger, more balanced, refreshed and energized. Decrease body aches and pains that can be caused by stress, while sharpening concentration, focus and work output. Improve your posture & patience, decrease stress & feel great while having fun! Yvonne has been an Aerobic and Fitness Instructor/Specialist throughout New England and abroad since the late 1970's. She's worked with all ages and fitness levels. She has a B.S. in Physical Education and an M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Yvonne is Stott Pilates Trained and has been an American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor for over 30 years.
