EXTENDED LIFEGUARD RECERTIFICATION COURSE #XRECERT

Individuals previously certified through the Starguard program qualify for this class. This lifeguard recertification option allows students extra time and access to instructional material online in order to better prepare the recertification student to pass the practical examination. Access to the online material will be granted within 10 business days of course enrolment. This option is ideal for lifeguards requiring a more intensive review, as well as those with little lifeguard work experience. The practical portion of this class is five hours long and contains a high level review of the essentials of lifeguarding as well as CPR and First Aid. Certification is good for one year. Please note: American Red Cross lifeguards must take the full new lifeguard course due to recent CPR and First Aid guideline changes that were not incorporated in the Red Cross curriculum at the time of previous certification. Students must have a high-speed internet connection. Due to the nature of this course, the entire course fee is non-refundable unless extreme circumstances exist.
