HOW TO BUILD SELF-ESTEEM #ESTEEM

"To trust one's mind and to know that one is worthy of happiness

is the essence of self-esteem." Nathaniel Branden, The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem

Malaena Nahmias, M.Ed., LCSW

A healthy self-esteem is the key to success and happiness in life. When we are confident about our decisions and feel deserving of happiness, then we can cope with life's challenges and work to achieve our goals. When we struggle daily with low self concept, we feel disempowered, depressed and "not enough." Low self-esteem adversely affects our relationships, work and mental and physical health. How do you begin to repair, develop and strengthen self-esteem? This class is designed to help you learn what true self-esteem is and how to overcome low self-esteem. Using discussion, meditation, journaling and learning exercises, we will explore the principles and beliefs that go into building and maintaining healthy self-esteem. Malaena Nahmias founded Awareness Counseling & Training in Stow, MA. She is an experienced heart-centered psychotherapist, life/work coach and corporate trainer. Malaena works to support clients and organizations to live into their full potential and greatest happiness.
