INTRODUCTION TO MICROSOFT EXCEL #EXCEL

Learn the basics and unlock the full power of this versatile spreadsheet tool with this in-depth course.  We have combined "Introduction to Excel" and "Intermediate Excel" to present an intensive course that will prepare you for most situations that require this spreadsheet tool.   This interactive course will incorporate practice exercises to help you master the skills for using Excel in both business and education setting. You will learn the basics of Excel including an overview of the worksheet and tool bars, entering and editing data, formatting cells, and creating formulas and charts.  You will also learn to use Excel for in-depth data analysis using Microsoft Excel's built-in tools such as sorting, AutoFilter and PivotTables.  The course will teach you to use functions and worksheet links develop complex formulas.  You will also learn to create and format business charts using advanced graphing techniques.  You will explore the import/export function to enable use of Excel data for reporting and database functions.  Prerequisite:  An Introduction to Windows or equivalent knowledge.  Limit 15.  Linda Marchi, a Project Manager at HP, has many years experience using Microsoft data analysis and spreadsheet tools in both technical and non-technical environments.  She is a former high school teacher and has been teaching community education classes for over 10 years.
