Adult, Child and Infant First Aid and CPR
Safety and First Aid Education (S.A.F.E.) Staff
Successful completion of this class will lead to the Emergency Care & Safety Institute certification in adult, child and infant first aid and CPR. We will cover surveying the scene, recognizing and treating breathing, choking, strokes and cardiac emergencies (CPR) in adults, children, and infants. We will also learn to care for shock, bleeding, sudden illnesses (diabetes, seizures and anaphylaxis) and more. Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing as we will be working with training mannequins on the floor. Participants must pass practical and written quizzes to receive certification This class satisifes ECC 2010 requirements and is accepted by Massachusetts Dept. of Early Education and Care (EEC). This is an ideal class for Moms and Dads, teachers, camp counselors, and aerobic instructors. Please indicate the session you'll attend.
