HAND-BLOWN GLASS FLOWERS #FLOWERS
This workshop is a blast! Come one, come all to this fun-filled class on learning how to make pulled and sculpted flowers. Play with many colors provided to create a very different, one-of-a-kind glass flower for your garden or home. Learn the basic tools and equipment used in this process by trained glassblowers. Fun for all levels! Glassblowing is the art of gathering molten glass out of a furnace and inflating it into a bubble with the aid of a blowpipe. The glass is shaped with various tools and reheated until the desired form is achieved, then placed in an annealing oven overnight to slowly cool down. No glassblowing experience necessary. Students under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult. For ALL classes listed on this page, please wear cotton or natural fiber clothing, long pants and closed-toe shoes. Limit 6 per class.
