This class is a continuation of French 1 and is good for those who have already acquired some knowledge of French (such as the completion of Beginning French). In this class basic grammar from Beginning French will be reviewed. Further emphasis is on vocabulary, grammar and conversation. Topics and French idiomatic expressions and sayings will be emphasized in class discussions. Course content may vary according to students' abilities and needs. The required textbook is Ultimate French Beginner/Intermediate published by Living Languages, a Random House Company, ISBN# 1400021057. It is available from online or local bookstores for approximately $18 or you can buy the accompanying CD or cassettes for approximately $50. Limit 12. The instructor has a Master's degree from Moscow Pedagogical Foreign Language Institute. She teaches and tutors French.
