OIL PAINTING FOR FUN #FUN
Ernest Stonebraker
Do you enjoy oil painting in a light-hearted, supportive atmosphere with fellow artists? This course is for students who are beyond beginners*, and just need motivation to paint on a weekly basis. Students are encouraged to work on projects at their own pace, with the instructor avaliable to answer questions and help solve problems. Bring your oil painting supplies, resource material (still life objects or photos you have taken) and a canvas. Colors are a personal choice, but the instructor will share his preferred palette at the first class. CAUTION: Oil painting requires the use of solvents (odorless mineral spirits). Students must be age 16 or older. Ernest (Ernie) Stonebraker has been painting for 20 years, has had work accepted into numerous juried shows, and paints in his studio in ARTspace, Maynard. Note: No Class 10/26 or 11/2. Limit 18.
*Beginners should enroll in BASIC OIL PAINTING.
