Everyone is talking about GREEN, from our president to the media, and in daily conversations. Our buildings are huge consumers of resources and engery. Worldwide there are responsible for 40% of energy consumption and 40% of material consumption. In this session we will review the big picture categories that can be considered for approaching a remodeling project with a environmentally sustainable thought process as well as get into some of the particular materials and approaches you can use while remodeling your home. Come find out some the more pramatic aspects of living GREEN. Thomas Buckborough is President and Design Director of a Design Build Remodeling firm in Acton, Massachusetts. He has worked exclusively within the field of residential remodeling for over 25 years. His 20 year old firm has won over 30 national and local awards for design and business practices. He is a Certified Green Professional and Certified Remodeler from the National Association of the Remodeling (NARI.org) Industry as well as a Certified Kitchen Designer from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
