INTRODUCTORY PHOTOSHOP #PHOTOSHOP

Robyn Bright

What are the first steps to take with a photo you wish to keep and work on to make it look even better? In this class you will learn how to recognize which photos are the best to work on, and then what to use at the beginning in Photoshop to give more life, or pop, to your photos. This will include working with levels/curves, hue/saturation, cropping, stamp/healing brush, sharpening and so on that can make good photos look fabulous. For this class you will need to have Photoshop, and any version of Photoshop including Elements will be fine, on your home computer. You do not have to bring a computer to class with you, although if you have a laptop that would be fine, but do bring paper and pen to take notes. For the first class, please bring three to five untouched digital photos on a cd, dvd, memory stick or card to look at and possibly use during class. Robyn Bright has a master's degree in animal behavior and has been published in pet industry magazines and advertisements. She has studied with DeCordova Museum and has been mentored by photographers for National Geographic and more. She has taken pictures all over the world including Australia, Europe and Africa.
