INTERESTED IN BECOMING A COMMUNITY EDUCATIONBASKETBALL REFEREE??
In order to be a Community Education Referee or time keeper you MUST take and pass the Community Education Basketball Referee Certification Class. Those who have refereed in past season also will have to take this FREE certification class. Learn more about basketball, the rules of the game, gain confidence as an official, and come away with the potential to have a great winter job! 100% class attendance is required to pass this course. You must be entering the 7th grade to participate.
Session 1: Monday, June 29th, Wednesday, July 1st, and Wednesday, July 8th. 7:00-9:00 p.m. @ Parker Damon Gym Session 2: (RETURNING SENIORS ONLY) Tuesday, June 30th and Thursday, July 7th. 7:00-9:00 p.m. @ Parker Damon Gym Session 3: Tuesday, August 4th, Thursday, August 6th, and Tuesday, August 11th. 7:00-9:00 p.m. @ Parker Damon Gym
Upon completion of the program your skills will be assessed and determined if you posses the qualifications to become a Community Education Referee. All sessions are held at the Parker Damon Gym. Please wear sneakers, athletic clothing, and bring a whistle.
