SKYHAWKS SPORTS CLINICSSkyhawks programs have been developed to improve individual skills and are tailored specifically to each sport offered and provide youth with an opportunity to enrich their sports skills by participating in safe, positive and noncompetitive programs. Each Skyhawks experience offers fundamentals, fun times and good friends.
Skyhawks programs are based on a philosophy of total participation in a noncompetitive environment. Skyhawks is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth to grow both as athletes and as people. In order to achieve this goal, we have developed a simple coaching philosophy:
Engage the children. Create an atmosphere that is positive, respectful and fun. Teach the fundamentals of the sport on an "eye-to-eye" level. Emphasize team unity over individual accomplishment. Stress the value of participation over the rewards of winning. Demonstrate good sportsmanship by always being a good sport. Continually reassess and meet the needs of the participants.
What Should I bring...??? Please bring a water bottle and snack. Wear sunscreen. Wear clothing appropriate for the activity.
PLEASE NOTE: 105CMR 430.000 - These camps must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the Acton Board of Health. Skyhawks' first concern is the safety of the children who participate in our programs. Copies of background checks, health care and discipline policies, as well as procedures for filing grievances are available upon request. In order to participate, you must submit, prior to the start of this activity, a copy of your child's most current physical exam and immunizations dated within the last 24 months to the Community Education office
