Yvonne BenelliWater Fitness offers a fantastic total body workout for all ages and fitness levels. This class is designed to improve cardiopulmonary fitness; muscular strength and endurance; as well as flexibility and Range of Motion (ROM). With this class conducted in the pool, there is minimal stress to joints. Strengthen your heart and lungs with aerobic activity and safe muscular resistance from the water and equipment. YOU control what you do. You will be guided to listen to your own body signals as you work at your own pace, ROM, speed and intensity throughout the class. Class includes warm-up, cool-downs and stretching to improve flexibility and decrease likelihood of pain or injury. Challenge yourself to your individual potential to improve your total health and fitness level. Maintain and improve good postural alignment. This perfect stress reducer will have you feeling great while having fun! Yvonne has been an aerobic and fitness instructor since 1978. She is a certified Exercise Leader though the American College of Sports Medicine. She has a B.S. in Physical Education and a M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Yvonne has received her aquatic fitness instructor certification through Aquatic Exercise association (AEA) and holds an Aerobics Instructor certification through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She is also Stott Pilates trained.
