Zumba & Pilates/Strength/Stretch

This dance/cardio/core/strength/stretch class does it all ... for dancers and non-dancers, new and well -seasoned exercisers alike. With ZUMBA, Latin and international music and dance movements, you get a dynamic, exhilarating, effective aerobic workout. Combining fast and slow rhythms and variations, you'll tone your body and get your heart pumping! Heart rate and core body temperatures elevate for our PILATES workout, targeting core muscles, balancing abdominal and back strength/endurance/flexibility while improving postural alignment. Add some total body muscle conditioning and flexibility exercise and you've "done it all!" This unique Combo class blends the hottest sensations of the fitness industry to create a fun and exciting workout. Let it all go in Zumba, then get centered, balanced and re-connect with Pilates and strength. Come join the party! Yvonne has many years of experience and expertise as an Aerobic and Fitness Instructor/Specialist throughout New England. She's worked with all ages and fitness levels. She has a B.S. in Physical Education and an M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Yvonne is Stott Pilates Trained and ZUMBA, ZUMBA GOLD certified, ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) Member, and has been an American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor for over 30 y ears. Bring a mat and sneakers (old tread). Hand weights and a small pillow or towel, optional.
